Assorted Buffoonery
Sunday June 15, 2008
Betwixt catching up with existence, saying goodbye to university and ultimately threading off another tangled strand in the web 2.0 of life, I’ve begun to realise that free time should be treated as any other valuable commodity as we zoom through the futures that lie ahead.
However, fruits may come from expending time in a way that may be counter-productive. I’ve aggregated a few things from around the web that titillated or otherwise entertained me – what better way to engender some vigour back into a blog site when the proprietors life becomes despairingly empty and listless for a few microseconds.
A whole cavalcade of interesting nuggets can be found searching for humourous TV ads on youtube. Sometimes a simple picture can render the life of most internet users in a few measly pixels.
Musically, Antoine Dufour is the best thing I’ve seen on a fretboard since Harperface. Check out a couple of his songs, again on the toob, Catching the Light and 30 Minutes in London.
Michael Moschen (absolutely amazing juggler) gives a talk at TED about his latest projects
And finally a selection from B3TA, the indispensable waste of time that never ceases to gigglify ordinary things.
