After realising this page is vastly outdated, I've decided it's time for an update. I no longer play DX regularly. The community is dying, most clans have turned to cinders. Apart from triad, but they're hardcore. This still qualifies as the best game in history. What's more, I've decided it also has the best soundtrack ever created for a game. Go Alex Brandon and all the other awesome guys who did great work on it. I don't think those tracks will fade from my playlist for quite a while. As for DXIW, it is nothing but a shadow of the legacy sustained by DX. It sucks in comparison. Admittedly I liked some elements of it, but overall, it's not worth the money I paid for it.
